Benefit Coverage
Benesch’s family building and reproductive health benefit is a $50,000 lifetime maximum*. Please note that fertility coverage is not offered through the Anthem Medical Plan, but instead through Carrot. You must engage Carrot to receive fertility benefits.
*Lifetime maximums date back to 2021 when the benefit was introduced.

How it Works
- Enroll and set up a Carrot Plan: Enroll and set up a Carrot Plan online based on one of the family-building journeys offered to you.
- View your lifetime maximum: You’ll be able to see the benefit amount available of your lifetime benefit limit ($50,000) on the Carrot platform.
- Get support from a team of medical experts: With the Carrot benefit, you get expert resources, education, and support as often as you need it.
- Use your Carrot benefit to find eligible clinics and agencies, locate an expert, explore trusted educational resources, join expert-guided discussions, and pay for eligible care and services. Out of pocket reimbursement and a Carrot Card are available to you to pay for eligible expenses.
- Reach out to the Carrot Care Team to help you understand how to use your benefit, check if your current provider is in their network, and help find an eligible provider.
