Accident insurance helps supplement your medical plan and disability coverage by providing cash benefits when you are faced with an accidental injury. It can help with out-of-pocket expenses such as deductibles, copays, transportation to medical centers, childcare and more. Accident insurance may include benefits for:
- Injuries: Fractures, dislocations, concussions, lacerations, eye injuries, ruptured discs, second- and third-degree burns, torn cartilage and emergency dental work

How to Use Your Benefit
Submit a Claim
- Go to presents.voya.com/ebrc/beneschlaw and click on “Start A Claim”
- Complete the questionnaire
- Download your claim form package if applicable
- Complete the form package and gather supporting documents
- Submit your claim
- You can monitor your claim’s status by entering the claim number on the Online Claims Center at voya.com/claims. If your claim is approved, your benefit will be paid within 10 business days of the approval
Opt into Medical Claims Integration
- You can give permission to share your medical insurance claims data and provide your email address during your enrollment.
- This permission enables Voya to identify potential claims opportunities available through your accident coverage for you and your covered dependents.
- You’ll receive an email from Voya suggesting you file a claim.

Are benefits paid directly to me or to my health care provider?
Payments will be paid directly to you, not to the doctors, hospitals or other health care providers. You will receive a check, payable to you, for maximum convenience.
Can I enroll in this insurance without having to take a medical exam?
Yes. If your employer offers accident insurance, your acceptance is guaranteed, regardless of your health. You just need to be actively at work for your coverage to be effective. There are no medical exams to take and no health questions to answer.
Is the claims process simple?
Yes. Once all required information is received, claims are generally processed within 10 business days. Only one claim form is needed per accident and every claim is reviewed by a claims professional.
